“It feels great knowing that my photographs are being recognized as works of art,” Nelle said. “And it is very exciting to know that the picture will be professionally printed into a book.”
Nelle asserts that his winning photograph of a snow-clad tree represents his passion for capturing the elegance of winter.
“My inspiration for the photograph comes from my love of snow,” he said. “I believe that snow can turn any dull landscape or object into something beautiful. Every time it snows, I go out of my way to go outside and take photos.”
