Manhattanville College Basketball Hosts Annual Think Pink Game During Alumni Weekend Doubleheader

Breast Cancer Awareness Game 210x130-1On Saturday, February 2, Manhattanville College will host the Annual Think Pink Game to raise Breast Cancer Awareness. The Valiants Men's and Women's basketball teams will play against the Wilkes Colonels. The women's game is at 1 p.m. and the men's game tip off is at 3 p.m. In recognition of Alumni Weekend, Manhattanville teams will welcome back Basketball Alumni.

All proceeds will go to Susan G Komen for the Cure: The Greater New York City Affiliate, an organization that aids in research about the causes, treatment for breast cancer, and the search for a cure.

"We appreciate the support that we have putting this game together and look forward to representing Manhattanville College in a positive way and giving back," said Khadija Campbell, Assistant Women's Basketball Coach.

The teams have invited breast cancer survivors to be recognized before the game for their strength and courage. Donations will be accepted during the game, and there will be $1 raffle giveaways.

The event promises to be exciting, with dance performances featured during the half-times for both the Men's and Women's games.
