"Jump Start's Accelerated Masters Program for Teacher Education is a great fit for RPCVs.," Mikki Shaw, Director of the Jump Start Program, said. "Since RPCVs already have a good deal of teaching and community organizing experience and are often likely to be seeking a career in public service, this is a wonderful opportunity to take advantage of past experiences and build on them."
Manhattanville College President Jon C. Strauss and the Acting Director of the Peace Corps Carrie Hessler-Radelet signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) in early January. The MOA and the associated program will remain in place for at least the next five years.
