The Early Childhood Alumni Association Celebrates the Holidays at The Coachman Family Center

ECEHoliday CoachmenCenterOn December 11, 2012 the Manhattanville Early Childhood Education (ECE) Alumni Association organized a holiday celebration at The Coachman Family Center in White Plains.

Dr. Patricia Vardin, the ECE Alumni Associations faculty chair, along with co-presidents April Fatato '07 and Jamie Morelli '07, group members Dorothea Muccigrasso, Amy Lynch '06, Karen Villa '08, Laura Woodson '06, Victoria Fantozzi and Dana Parsons '12 planned and participated in the celebration which featured sugar cookie decorating, a visit from Santa, gift giving, and a holiday sing-along.

Located in what was once a hotel, the Coachman Family Center is home to up to 100 families. Run by Westhab and the county's Department of Social Services, the center offers a number of types of housing. Residents are allowed to stay at Coachman for up to 6 months, while their medical, financial or other problems resolve.
