Ten students and three faculty members are combining their talents to put on Gilbert and Sullivan's The Mikado, a comedic operetta set in old, mythical Japan.

The show runs Friday, May 4 and Saturday, May 5 in the Pius X Hall in the Music Building at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for students, seniors, and children.

"I've thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the Mikado cast. It isn't every day that students, professors and members of the outside community join together on a project," Melissa Prisco '12 said. "I think that is what enriches this production and makes it so special."

The Mikado is a very funny musical satire on government and law. Faculty members in the show include Lawson Bowling (on the piano), Everett Delahanty, Elizabeth Lewis (of the ARC), and Matthew Pauley
