On Friday, April 13, Manhattanville College is hosting the Environmental Consortium of Hudson Valley Colleges & Universities' 7th Annual Student Summit, featuring an Environmental Career and Graduate Program Fair.
The event is an opportunity for students interested in Environmental Studies to meet environmental professionals from diverse sectors, network with like-minded students, present their resumes to recruiters for employment, internship, volunteer and research opportunities, and explore graduate education in environmental fields from regional colleges and universities. Lunch is provided, with the opportunity to network with professionals during luncheon.
Professionals attending include Kristine Ba, Senior Cost Engineer at Turner Construction Company, Stephen Fairchild, Assistant Director, Television, Department of Communications at Wildlife Conservation Society, Evon R. Hekkala, Assistant Professor, Department of Biological Sciences, at Fordham University, Ben Larkey, Senior Manager, Corporate Environmental Affairs at Sharp Electronics Corporation, and more.
Graduate institution exhibitors include Bard College, Columbia University, The City College of New York, Fordham University, The New School, Polytechnic Institute of New York University, Ramapo College of New Jersey, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
