Manhattanville College sophomore Sara Lily Kalikow has been working on a play for the past few years and now, the finished product, The Green Room, will go live on Saturday, March 24 in the Berman Students' Center Theatre with the help of the Duchesne Center for Religion and Social Justice.
"I wrote a show during the past three winters and am so excited to see my work come alive on stage," said Kalikow.
The play portrays the lives of four high school students and their director as they put on a show of their own. The Green Room opens on Saturday, March 24, at 8 p.m. in the Berman Students' Center Theater. There will be a second show on Sunday, March 25 at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $5. Proceeds will be used to help the children in the CAST Kids program attend a Broadway show.
The CAST Kids program is a program focusing on the arts and drama where student volunteers facilitate theater exercises with children from the Coachman Family Center.
