Field Hockey

Sophomore Amanda DeChent led the field hockey team with two goals and two assists in a 5-2 win over Stevenson on Sunday. Kayla Meenan, Alyssa Nardone and Alyssa Tourdot also scored in the "Play 4 the Cure" game in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.

Men's Soccer

Eros Olazabal scored his 21st goal Saturday, breaking the team's single-season record scoring record, in a 2-0 win over Misericordia.

Adam Kent, Daniel Carlryd and Yani Quinteros each scored in the Valiants' 3-0 win over FDU-Florham Tuesday.


Gabriel Pinto earned his first individual title at second singles during the final day of competition at the Middle Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Championships Sunday. Seven Valiants advanced to the semifinals from the opening round on Saturday.


The Valiants took home two big wins on Saturday in a sweep at the St. Elizabeth Tri-Match. Makana Gomes led the Valiants with 11 digs in a 25-19, 25-22, 25-15 win over host St. Elizabeth. Sam Delmer had 19 digs in a 26-24, 15-25, 25-16, 25-10 win over Rosemont.

Women's Soccer

It was a tough weekend for the Valiants, taking a hard 5-0 loss to Misericordia on Saturday.
