|Manhattanville Senior Attends AAEEBL ePortfolio World Summit|
|Tuesday, August 23, 2011|
Rising Manhattanville College senior, Jeanette LeBlanc, partook in the Association for Authentic, Experiential, and Evidence-Based Learning (AAEEBL) ePortfolio World Summit. The conference took place at the World Trade Center and Seaport Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts. Professors Jim Frank and Gillian Greenhill Hannum were also in attendance at the conference.
At the AAEEBL ePortfolio World Summit, LeBlanc presented her own ePortfolio during the session entitled, "Student Showcase: Becoming Scholars of Our Own Experiences through Building ePortfolios." During the session LeBlanc spoke on the process of building her ePortfolio and answered participant questions regarding the benefits of an electronic portfolio. In addition, LeBlanc high-lighted specific coursework on her ePortfolio and reflected on the way the ePortfolio experience helped redefine the way she viewed her cumulative academic program at Manhattanville.

LeBlanc's ePortfolio is unique because it started out as a Graphic Design class assignment and branched into a second portfolio based on the Manhattanville College Portfolio System. LeBlanc plans on using the ePortfolio to document her senior thesis during the Fall 2011 semester. She will also be submitting an ePortfolio for her senior portfolio evaluation.
