Students and faculty from Duchesne Alliance schools will experience the sites and sounds of classical and contemporary Rome and its immediate environs.

Program instructors include University of Roehampton Senior Lecturer in Roman and Early Medieval History, Manhattanville College Professor of History, and Maryville University Professor of Art/Art Design. Participants can earn 3-9 credits from their home institution.
Participants will have the opportunity to visit some of Rome's famous attractions including: The Vatican, Colosseum, Roman Forum, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Altar of Peace, Capitol Hill, Capitoline Museum, Trajan's Column and Markets, Appian Way, Castel San Angelo, Catacombs, Villa Hadriana, churches (Santa Maria Maggiore, San Giovanni Laterano, San Clemente, Santa Croce, Santa Maria in Trastevere, and Jubilee Church of Richard Meier). They will also have the chance to participate in side trips to Florence and Assisi.
Estimated total cost for the trip is $4,998, which includes airfare, room, board, tuition, local transportation, insurance, and excursions within and outside of Rome.
