On the morning of Friday, August 26, International students arrived on campus to a welcome committee of students, staff, faculty and administrators.

Hurricane Irene forced Manhattanville to cancel Saturday's move-in day, rescheduled for Monday, August 29. The first day of classes was pushed back to Tuesday.

Despite the inclement weather over the weekend, students were met with a warm welcome from a group of volunteers and Residence Life staff Monday afternoon. And the Welcome Back Week events didn't end there as a full calendar of events welcome students back to campus, including a club fair, a poster sale and plenty of entertainment.
