|Three New Coaches Join the Valiants Team|

The Athletics Department hired three new coaches this summer to help boost the Valiants chances come regular season.
Gregg Miller joins Manhattanville as the men's soccer coach after three seasons as the assistant coach at Brown University (a Division I program), He also worked as the head coach at Johnson & Wales University for 14 seasons, leading the squad to five conference championships and four NCAA Tournament appearances.
Amanda Alayon will take over the Valiants' women's volleyball team this fall. She was a two-year starter defensive specialist for Fairleigh Dickenson. Alayon also served as head women's volleyball coach at the Red Raider Volleyball Club in Thiells, N.Y., performing all aspects of the job including planning and conducting practices, coordinating schedules and making travel arrangements. Alayon was featured in the Journal News in August 2011.
Kevin Warnock is the new men's lacrosse coach. He joins the Valiants after three seasons as assistant coach at Bates College. Warnock also served as director of the New England Developmental Lacrosse Elite Travel Team between 2005 and 2007, recruiting and coaching prospective scholastic-level athletes and helping them in the search for post-secondary education. The Daily Harrison featured Warnock in August 2011.
