|Monday, 28 February 2011 00:00|
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Kathy Fitzgerald as Vice President for Enrollment Management, effective April 15th, 2011. Kathy’s appointment follows a national search conducted by a cross-divisional Search Committee which included faculty and staff, co-chaired by VP Jose Gonzalez and Professor George Schreer. In order to ensure a smooth transition in the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid, Interim Vice President Mary Napier has agreed to serve until April 19th, thus providing necessary overlap with Kathy.
As VP of Enrollment Management, Kathy will be responsible for overseeing all admissions and financial aid strategy for the College at the undergraduate and graduate levels and in continuing education / lifelong learning. Kathy is a seasoned senior manager with a wealth of experience in enrollment management best practices, including recruitment, retention and financial aid leveraging. Her expertise extends to optimizing institutional, state, federal, and other financial resources to meet enrollment goals, and she brings a keen understanding of marketing principles, recruitment, and admissions processes.
Kathy currently serves as Vice President for Enrollment Management at Paul Smith’s College, and has served previously as Vice President for Marketing and Enrollment Management at the Sage Colleges, and as Associate Consultant for Enrollment Management at Noel-Levitz. She also served as National Marketing Director for Computer Education Services Corporation and Director of Public Relations for Smith and Jones.
On behalf of our community, I extend a sincere thank you to Interim VP Mary Napier for her expertise and leadership of Admissions and Enrollment Management over the past 10 months and for stepping into the role with a high level of personal and professional integrity. I know that all of you join me in wishing her the very best in her future endeavors.
Please join me in welcoming Kathy Fitzgerald to the Manhattanville College Community.
