Manhattanville Junior Expands Her Love of Puppetry Through Internship

Junior Ali Hoyt interned at the Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry (BIMP), a part of the University of Connecticut's Bolton College, this summer helping to catalog and preserve Frank Ballard marionettes. She is spending her fall semester doing research in The Republic of Guinea, West Africa, where she plans to learn the traditional techniques of creating and performing as an apprentice puppeteer.

George Tischler '11 Named Men's Golf Head Coach

tischler aug3012Following a record-setting two years on the course for the Manhattanville men's golf team, George Tischler '11 will switch roles and take over for Nikhil Kumar as the third head men's golf coach in program history, according to an announcement by Director of Athletics Keith Levinthal.

Professor Chris Pappas Awarded Funding for Research by National Science Foundation

Manhattanville College and Dr. Christopher Pappas from the Department of Biology have been awarded funding to conduct research at the Institut Pasteur located in Paris, France for 24 months, from the Office of International Science and Engineering within the National Science Foundation (NSF).
