The importance of the trip was to show how poverty is still a drastic problem domestically. Students were assigned to various tasks throughout the week.

Manhattanville in President’s Higher Ed Community Service Honor Roll

Lily Edgar Receives Fulbright

Lily EdgarLily Edgar, a senior at Manhattanville College, has been selected as a U.S. Fulbright award winner to teach in South Korea. After graduating from Manhattanville in May, Lily will spend a year in South Korea teaching English to students who are non-native speakers.

Manhattanville College Featured in Tina Fey’s Admission

Tina Fey spent part of the spring of 2012 at Manhattanville College, along with actor Paul Rudd and director Paul Weitz, filming Admission, which opened Friday, March 22 at most major theaters around the country.  Between May 7 and June 4, scenes where shot in the third floor Offices of Admissions and the second floor President’s Office.
