Barry Wilner has been a newsman for The Associated Press since 1976.  He has covered 26 Super Bowls, 11 Olympics, 9 World Cups, the Stanley Cup Finals, major tennis and golf events and championship flights.  He is the lead NFL writer and editor for the AP.  Mr. Wilner has also written 37 books including "They Changed the Game", a look at athletes and sportsmen in the 20th century and their impact on their sport and on society; "Girls Rule!" explores the role of women in sports; "Gridiron Glory" a history of the Army-Navy football game; "Football Feuds", a look at prominent college football rivalries; and "Harvard Beats Yale 29-29", the greatest comebacks in sports history.

In addition, Mr. Wilner has been a regular contributor to a variety of publications including SportBusiness International, Inside Sports and Lindy's Sports Previews.
