Adjunct Faculty

Randye Spina FacultyProfile ImageI worked for Fortune 100 companies for more than 25 years, although my heart & passion had always been elsewhere. My position as VP Marketing & New Product Development required my writing training manuals & traveling the country to train local offices. It was during this time I fell in love with teaching & when I returned to my office I began the task of adjusting my career path to include teaching college courses. I own Affordable Marketing Solutions LLC, where I put my years of marketing & communications expertise to work for small & micro businesses in many diverse industries. I am privileged to serve on the Board of Directors of the Stratford Arts Guild and Chair their Marketing Committee. I've also served on the Board of Directors of the Direct Marketing Association of Orange County, CA as their Membership Chair. One of my corporate marketing campaigns was nominated for an Echo Award, and I've worked with Tailwind.com (a small business networking organization) as their marketing advisor. In 2010, I self-published "Affordable Marketing Solutions: Proven Techniques to Profitably Market Your Small Business." This 100+ page handbook covers all the small business marketing techniques such as websites, email, coupons, brochures, postcards, trade shows, public relations and more and, most importantly, how to get them right the first time - without wasting time. Each chapter contains worksheets, templates and checklists to guide the small business owner to marketing success. Released in summer 2009, I am featured as a quoted contributor in "The eBay Marketing Bible," written by Cliff Ennico, small business attorney & faculty member of eBay University. My chapters discuss offline marketing strategies to support a successful online business. I've written small business marketing articles for the Fairfield County Business Journal, Westchester County Business Journal, SmallBusinessJournal.com, Hudson Valley Business Journal & others. I've been a guest on the popular local cable show News 12's "On the Money" and was a guest on "Abundance with De Boone," a local radio show. I have an MBA from the University of Dallas and a BS in Marketing from Pace University.
