Jane E. Seaman
Ms. Seaman is a veteran Broadway performer, equally at home on the operatic stage. On Broadway, she worked with Patti LuPone and Leslie Uggams in the Lincoln Center revival of ANYTHING GOES. She also worked with Mandy Patinkin, Howard McGillin and Rebecca Luker in THE SECRET GARDEN. While BIG RIVER, which starred Marin Mazzie and Danny Jenkins, was her first Broadway show and National Tour, THE SOUND OF MUSIC starring Marie Osmond (and later Debby Boone) was her last National Tour.
She's no stranger to other media, having had stints on tv in MURPHY BROWN, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, ANOTHER WORLD, and was featured opposite Keanu Reeves in the film DEVIL'S ADVOCATE.
A graduate of the Juilliard School of Music, Ms. Seaman recently sang the role of Donna Elvira in DON GIOVANNI.
Jane Seaman is currently an Adjunct Private Singing Technique Instructor in the Musical Theatre department at Marymount Manhattan College, since 2007. She has also taught "Acting the Text of the Song" and Acting 101 at Queens College and at the former CAP 21/Tisch/NYU. She has directed AEA staged readings of THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST, MORNINGS AT SEVEN, and BACK ON THE BOARDS AGAIN: FROM VAUDEVILLE TO BURLESQUE at NCJW, NYC.
