Professor Sabater has been a Spanish Adjunct Professor in Manhattanville College for seven years.
Originally from Madrid, she migrated to United States after her husband's job relocated him to New York. While in Spain she received her Master's and Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Complutense University in Madrid Spain. She also earned a Master's degree in Human Resources Management at ICADE, Pontifical University of Comillas, also located in Madrid.
Once in New York, Professor Sabater received a Professional Certificate in English to Spanish Translation from New York University and enrolled in Manhattanville College as a graduate student to fulfill the requirements for a PostMaster Advanced Certification in Adolescence Education in Foreign Language, Spanish.
She teaches Intermediate and Advanced Spanish Grammar levels, Reading, Writing and Conversation classes at Manhattanville College and The College of New Rochelle. In addition to teaching, she is also a Spanish Language Reader for the AP exams, grading the Writing section of the AP Spanish Language exam.
Professor Sabater enjoys teaching and preparing college students to enter the global world of professionals, where languages and contact with other cultures will surely help them to succeed.
