Marty has enjoyed a more than thirty year career in the lifestyle marketing arena, including experience with: sports/entertainment marketing agencies; representing sports/cultural properties; event management; sales management and media. He has led significant strategic planning and revenue growth projects while in senior level sales and marketing positions.

Since 2009, Marty has been engaged in the development of sports/entertainment related projects, building an independent lifestyle marketing practice. Over the past 15+ years, he has held senior level marketing/sales positions with major sports/entertainment marketing agencies including Velocity Sports & Entertainment(TeamEpic), IMG and 21 Marketing - responsible for a range of clients including: The Breeders’ Cup; Madison Square Garden; Dallas Cowboys; Smithsonian Institution; Kennedy Space Center.

Additionally, in the cultural not for profit arena, he was the Senior Director of the PBS National Sponsorship Group at WNET/NY, the largest public TV station in the country, responsible for a sales group charged marketing/selling corporate sponsorships for nationally distributed PBS programs.

During the early 90’s Marty worked on the corporate side at Bristol-Myers Squibb as Director of Media/Promotion Services developing strategic promotions and sponsored events for major product lines (Clairol, Ban, Nuprin).

Prior to that, Marty worked in the professional soccer and tennis industries. In the tennis business, he managed events for Lamar Hunt’s World Championship Tennis a major international promoter of tennis tournaments. While with the North American Soccer League he divided his time between a senior frontline team role, managing all marketing for the innovative Tampa Bay Rowdies and later was promoted to a position at league HQ in NY. Marty holds a BSBA from Northeastern University and an MBA from Boston College
