MSBM 5005 Legal & Ethical Considerations in Sports Business Management

Mr. Moscarello and his brother, are the co- founders (1992) of the company that invents, patents and markets Vew-Do' brand balance training devices and associated lifestyle products, the preference of professional athletes, trainers, and sports enthusiasts around the world. Having grown in conjunction with the explosion in the snowboarding industry, their client list has expanded to include several NFL, NHL, and MLB teams, the US Olympic Training Facility, colleges with nationally ranked sports programs, and many more. The brand is also distributed internationally in Canada, Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.

In addition to teaching, Mr. Moscarello remains a small business (legal entity) consultant, assisting clients privately or in his capacity as an officer in a 501(c)(3) corporation. His primary service concerns the complexity of business compliance to governmental legal standards and law, knowledge obtained in part during fifteen years at the world's largest defense contractor, Lockheed Martin and his MBA in International Business from Long Island University '95.

Much of his world view however, can be attributed to earlier pursuits in Anthropology (Fordham University BA '76) and world history (Manhattanville College MAT/History '78).
