Mark Jeffers successfully spearheaded the launch in 2008 of MAR$AR Sports & Entertainment LLC. As president he has seen rapid growth of the company with the signing of numerous clients including LiveU, Send to News, AAA Flag & Banner, DSI, Creative Bubble, Element 21 Golf, Breeders Crown, NewTek, Eye Music Network, Kitay Productions, World Golf League, Screen Systems, Glowpoint, Talking Baseball with Ed Randall, and many others.
Before starting MAR$AR, Jeffers was Senior Vice President Sports Marketing at Giles Communications where he secured placements in many major media outlets including USA Today, The News York Times, CNN, Good Morning America, The Today Show and ESPN. Jeffers has over 25 years of top level sports marketing and television experience having held senior management positions at NBC, CBS, Orad and Ascent Media Group. His professional activities include being local host and producer of the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon, a columnist for Sport & Technology, a member of the National Sports Marketing Network, National Writers Union, Sports Video Group and the co-host of the bi-weekly sports radio program, "The Clubhouse."
Mr. Jeffers is an adjunct professor in the Sport Business Management Program at Manhattanville College and serves on their Advisory board. Jeffers earned an MS degree in Communication Arts at the College of New Rochelle, and a BS/BA in Television-Radio/Sociology from Syracuse University.He currently resides in Bedford Hills with his wife Sarah and three girls, Kate, Amanda and Claire.
