Jack D'Angelo has 30 years of extensive generalist and specialist experience in most areas of HR and in leading both non-union and union organizations. D'Angelo has participated in numerous programs with significant business impact and has a proven track record in successfully managing multiple/broad-scoped/complex projects. He has key competencies in: Compensation, Benefits, Employee Relations, Employee Services, Labor Relations, Staffing, Diversity/EEO and Affirmative Action, Succession Planning, HR Systems, HR Communications, Safety Health & Environmental Management and Merger and Acquisition/Divestiture Management. During his 27-year career with Verizon Communications and the former GTE Corporation, D'Angelo held a number of executive positions and other positions of increasing importance. In addition, he has recently consulted for IBM Corporation. D'Angelo is a current member of the Society for Human Resources Management and World At Work. He previously served on the board of directors of the Employment Policy Foundation and on the board of directors of Unified Federal Credit Union. Also, he served on the Town of Medfield, Massachusetts Personnel Board and chaired a major compensation survey steering committee in the Greater Boston Area for four consecutive years. He holds an MBA in Management and Industrial Relations from the University of Bridgeport and a B.S. in Business Administration from Central Connecticut State University.
