Training and Prevention of Sexual Harassment

Manhattanville College is committed to creating and maintaining a respectful and supportive work environment. In order to build awareness of the issue of harassment at all levels, the Human Resources Department has arranged with our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to provide an on-line Prevention of Harassment Training for all Manhattanville Employees. This compliance training is an important initiative and a mandatory requirement for ALL EMPLOYEES.

The program is a basic training module, which takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. The training module includes: key concepts and legal issues related to harassment, how to identify the two types of sexual harassment and information that will help build a better understanding of your responsibility in maintaining an environment free of sexual harassment. This review will be followed by an interactive test.

To access the training:

  1. Visit www.TheEAP.com.
  2. On the right side of the screen, below Employee & Family Login, click the Sign In button.
  3. If you haven't registered before, click REGISTER HERE.
  4. In the Employer field, enter "Manhattanville" then click the Continue button.
  5. Select the Manhattanville College radio button, then click the Continue button.
  6. Complete the Registration Form: create your own username and password, fill out the remaining fields, then click the Continue button.
    The website resources section appears.
  7. At the top of the page, click the Management Academy.
  8. Scroll down to the Level I – Regulatory Compliance courses section, then click one of the following:
    • Harassment Prevention for Supervisors
    • Harassment Prevention for Employees
    A screen will appear with all of the online training modules.
  9. Click again on HARASSMENT PREVENTION TRAINING FOR Supervisors (or Employees)
