The private, coeducational College, founded in 1841, draws its student body from 66 different countries and 33 states. The Manhattanville curriculum nurtures intellectual curiosity and independent thinking. Manhattanville offers challenging academics spanning more than 50 areas of study, taught in small classes with virtually unlimited support and faculty access. Students and professors form close collaborative relationships beginning with the Freshman Seminars, an interdisciplinary survey of the liberal arts required of all freshmen.

Manhattanville's global perspective is enriched by its role as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) formally associated with the Department of Public Information (DPI) of the United Nations. Select students have an opportunity to intern at the UN as well as to study with an ambassador. Manhattanville is truly known for its phenomenal internship programs. PepsiCo., HBO productions, Morgan Stanley, VH1, NYU Medical, Regis & Kelly Live, and Madison Square Garden are just a few of over 450 places where our students have receive invaluable hands-on experience.
