CHP Consolidated Health Plans

Waiver site will be opened on June 15, 2012

Consolidated Health Plans (CHP), in partnership with Manhattanville College, offers a student-focused health insurance plan that protects students at school, at home and while traveling or studying abroad. [Please refer to the Plan brochure for complete details regarding the coverage, benefits, and limits. If you have comparable health insurance, you may waive the premium by completing a waiver form on-line. The deadline for the 12/13 school year for waiver submission is September 15, 2012. 

For new students in Spring 13 the waiver site will be open on Novemeber 15, 2012. The deadline for the waiver submission is January 31, 2013.

Health Insurance On-line Waiver Process

To waive the Manhattanville College Student Accident and Sickness Insurance for the 2012-2013 year, please log onto www.chpstudent.com and follow the instructions below. Have your current health insurance ID card ready. You will need this information in order to waive the Student Health Insurance.

1. Log onto www.chpstudent.com.
2. Click on "Student Health Plans".
3. Select Manhattanville College from the drop-down list.
4. Click the "WAIVER" tab and proceed.
5. Fill in all of the required information on the waiver form. If any information is missing; your waiver will NOT be accepted.
6. Click "Continue" and review the information provided for accuracy.
7. You must select the "Confirm" button to submit and register the Online
8. Waiver Form with Manhattanville College. Your waiver will not be transmitted until you click the "Confirm" button.
9. When your Online Waiver Form is successfully submitted, you will immediately receive a confirmation email. We recommend that you print this confirmation for your records.

The Online Waiver Form is the only way to waive coverage for the 2012-2013.

If you do not complete the online waiver by September 15, 2012, the insurance charge will remain on your account and you will be covered by the College's Student Accident and Sickness Plan.

Full-time Domestic Graduate Student Insurance

If you are a full-time Domestic Graduate Student, taking at least 9 credit hours at Manhattanville College, you may enroll in the Accident and Sickness Plan. To enroll, log onto www.chpstudent.com and select Manhattanville College-Domestic from the drop down list. Select the "Enroll" tab and complete the form as directed. The deadline to enroll is September 15, 2012 for the Annual plan and February 15, 2013 for the Spring Term. Graduate Domestic Students enrolled in 9 or more credit hours and actively attending classes at Manhattanville College have the option of enrolling in the Student Health Insurance Plan. The Plan is underwritten by Nationwide Life Insurance and administered through Consolidated Health Plans.
