MFA in Creative Writing

Message from the MFA Program DirectorNowak AuthorPhoto08

Welcome to the MFA Program at Manhattanville College, where we strive to build a community of engaged literary artists through workshops, seminars in publishing and the teaching of creative writing, and educational outreach work in the community.

The MFA program at Manhattanville College welcomes applications on a rolling basis. Students who wish to be considered for our full range of tuition remission fellowships, including positions such as the MFA Program Assistant, graduate student editors of The Manhattanville Review, and Writing Center Fellows, should submit their materials by the priority deadline of April 1 for full consideration.

Through the links on the left hand column, you can talk with one of our current MFA students, schedule a time to visit the campus and sit in on one of our classes, find out what our MFA alums are up to, and learn what materials we require to complete your application.

We hope that, after learning more about the dynamic MFA program a short train ride from New York City, you'll decide to apply now to the MFA Program at Manhattanville College.

Welcome to your writing future,

Mark
