|Kappa Delta Pi History|
Kappa Delta Pi is an International Honor Society in Education that was founded in 1911. It was organized to recognize excellence in education. It elects those to membership who exhibit the ideals of scholarships, high personal standards, and promise in teaching. Persons elected to membership remain members for life; however, active membership is maintained through the payment of annual dues. Each member's name is recorded permanently at the Headquarters of Kappa Delta Pi in Indianapolis, Indiana.
