Alex is the managing director of Formascope, a company that provides training and consulting in industrial risk assessment, risk management methodology, business continuity and feasibility studies. He has in excess of 20 years experience in this field across many different countries and industries. Alex is the founder of the Global Institute for Risk Management Standards, the global platform G31000 and the active owner/moderator of the ISO31000 LinkedIn group, which has 5000+ members, leading knowledge-based discussions on ISO 31000 worldwide. Alex holds a Masters in Risk Management and a post-graduate in Business Administration together with a Chemical Engineering Degree from Belgium, ULg. He is an invited professor in several universities and institutes, trainer for workshops and has written a number of articles on ISO 31000.
