James King, pictured above (center) with two of his Manhattanville College graduate creative writing professors (Joanna Herman, left, and John Herman, right), never quite imagined what would happen after he graduated from Manhattanville's graduate creative writing program. But shortly after he did receive his degree, King was awarded the Amazon Breakthrough Award in 2009 for his novel Bill Warrington's Last Chance. And now King's novel is set to hit the big screen!
