| Welcome to the Graduate Creative Writing Blog @ Manhattanville College |
|
From the streets of Cairo to Zuccotti Park in New York's Wall Street Financial District, the role of social media is revolutionizing not only how we get our news, but perhaps more importantly who writes the stories we read, see, and hear. With that in mind, I'm proud to introduce you to the Graduate Creative Writing Program's new blog. In the weeks and months and years to come, this blog will be there to let you know about new developments in the graduate creative writing program, inform you about upcoming events, and otherwise keep current students, our dear alums, and other interested cyberspace browsers up-to-date about our program here at Manhattanville. So please do bookmark this page. And come back often to read about what's new at the graduate creative writing program at Manhattanville College. ps-I hate blogs with all text and no pictures, so I'm including the above image to let students in my Fall Writers Weekend poetry class know where we will be spending our daylight hours working on new poems (architect, Maya Lin). C'mon, who wouldn't like to spend a fall weekend writing new poems in a space like this?!?!! |
