IRA Gifts Approved for 2013- And 2012!

Alumni and Friends ages 70½ and older may make gifts to Manhattanville College and other charities of up to $100,000 from their IRA accounts in calendar year 2013 as a result of the American Taxpayer Relief Act passed by Congress on Jan. 1. A separate, special provision also allows IRA gifts made by Jan. 31, 2013, to count as 2012 IRA withdrawals if the donor elects to do so.
