Dear Prospective Student and Lifelong Learner,

I would like to welcome you to our web pages. At Manhattanville College we are committed to adult learning. Our programs were established to bring to adult students the same quality education that has characterized Manhattanville College since its inception in 1917. Our adult curriculum will provide you with not only an enhanced skill set but with an enhanced ability to think critically – something that employers in the public sector, government agencies and the private sector are seeking today in their current employees and new hires.

Adult students bring self-motivation, life, work, and prior college experience to the classroom. We recognize your desire to earn your degree in a timely manner that fits into your busy lifestyle. At Manhattanville College, we've designed our programs specifically to meet the needs of adult students.

We have a generous transfer policy that allows students to earn up to 90 credits for previous college work, 12 credits for life experience (through a portfolio submission), and 12 credits through CLEP testing. Our program is offered in an accelerated format in the evenings and on weekends. A student who transfers into Manhattanville College with 60 credits can earn their degree in less than two years.
