Martina Colaizzi `10 BoardServeNYC Initiative

Through BoardServeNYC - a citywide initiative that seeks to engage more New Yorkers in Board Service and Nonprofit Development- NYC Service, Mayor Bloomberg’s comprehensive program to engage more New Yorkers in volunteer service, has partnered with BoardAssist, New York’s leading personalized nonprofit board matching services,  to create the Board Leadership Development Program. This new innovative program is designed to develop stronger boards while giving high impact New Yorkers an opportunity to join boards on a distinctive level.

Danielle J. Summons `11- Candidate for Miss New York

Danielle SummonsThe Manhattanville Community would like to congratulate Danielle J. Summons, a graduate of the Class of 2011 with a BA in Music with a concentration in Musical Theater, who has recently been selected to be a candidate in the Miss New York USA 2013 Pageant. Danielle will be representing Upper Manhattan.

During her time at Manhattanville, Danielle served as a Duchesne Scholar, President of Black Student Union for 3 years and was a proud member of the Quintessentials for 3 years under the direction of Mark Cherry.

We will be cheering on Danielle and we wish her the best of luck as she continues through this exciting journey!
