During her career, Gail has taught in schools in New York City, Mamaroneck, and White Plains as well as in the Hunter College Elementary School for gifted children. She was granted an Education Policy Fellowship in gifted and talented education sponsored by the US Dept of Education and George Washington University. Gail taught at Manhattanville as an adjunct professor in the School of Education for seven years, and for the past 24 years she has been the Director of Student Teaching. In her time here she has taught undergraduate courses in Fundamentals of Teaching and graduate level courses in gifted and talented education.
Manhattanville College is located in Purchase, New York on a beautiful 100-acre suburban campus, 10 minutes from downtown White Plains and just 30 miles from New York City. It has an amazingly diverse mix of students from more than 30 states and 50 countries. The College has 1,700 undergraduates and 1,000 graduate students.
