Karen Steinmetz, M.A.

Writing Lecturer

Karen Steinmetz's novel, The Mourning Wars, was published by Roaring Brook/Macmillan in August 2011. Her poetry manuscript Aerie was a 2010 finalist for the Four Way Books Intro Poetry Prize. Steinmetz's poetry has appeared in Southern Poetry Review, Coal Hill Review, Inkwell, The Midwest Quarterly, Illuminations, and So to Speak among other literary journals. She holds a B.A. from New York University and an M.A. in Creative Writing from Manhattanville College.
