George Schreer

Professor Schreer has been a member of the Psychology Department at Manhattanville since 1999. He received his BS from Binghamton University in 1987 and Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Syracuse University in 1995. He teaches courses using a "social psychological framework" including Social Psychology, Social Influence & Persuasion, and Stereotyping & Prejudice, as well as courses involving the "tools of psychology" such as Statistics, Research Methods, and Survey of Psychological Research. His current research interests include implicit prejudice, unconscious processes, and social influence. He regularly presents his research, often with Manhattanville students, at both regional and national psychology conferences.
