Jim Frank, M.F.A.Associate ProfessorI received my BFA from Ohio Wesleyan University and my MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art with a concentration in printmaking, specifically the Collotype printing process. I am Associate Professor of Studio Art at Manhattanville College. I oversee the development of the Digital Media/Graphics concentration for the BFA degree. My classes include Digital Photography, Studio Photography, Web Design, Graphic Design and Computer Graphics 1. Additionally I have taught in Burgos, Spain and London, England as a visiting artist at the Royal College of Art. I represent Manhattanville College in the FIPSE funded Connect to Learning ePorfolio project. I am a faculty facilitator for Manhattanville's Teaching and Learning Circles for ePortfolio development and pedagogy. Over the past year I have attended the AAC&U Conference on General Education in Seattle, the AAC&U ePortfolio Conference in San Francisco, and the AAEEBL Conference in Boston. My photographs have been exhibited and published nationally and internationally. Clients include Getty Images, MOMA, The Neuberger Museusm of Art and the Merrill C. Berman Collecition. My photographs are in the collection of the Smithsonian Museum, The Neuberger Museum of Art and the Victoria Albert Museum. One item that I am extremely proud of is completing the Camino de Santiago de Compostela on my bicycle.
