Michael Meade has served on the faculty at Manhattanville College since 2006. He is also a member of the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra, and performs in many other area ensembles. Mr.Meade is a 1976 graduate of the Eastman School of Music, and earned a Master's Degree in Music Performance in 1984 from the University of Connecticut. His major teachers include Ronald Leonard, Alan Harris, and Samuel Mayes.While still at Eastman, Mr. Meade was a founding member of the Colden String Quartet which performed internationally, and became the resident quartet at Western Michigan University.
Manhattanville College is located in Purchase, New York on a beautiful 100-acre suburban campus, 10 minutes from downtown White Plains and just 30 miles from New York City. It has an amazingly diverse mix of students from more than 30 states and 50 countries. The College has 1,700 undergraduates and 1,000 graduate students.
