Victor Lionti is an active figure in the Westchester Youth Symphony. He was formerly principal violist of the Greenwich Symphony, Professor of Music at Kent State University, a member of the Rochester Philharmonic, the Hartford Symphony and the United States Marine Band, as well as the former Music Director of the Aaron Copland Music and Arts Program sponsored by Westchester County. Mr. Lionti formerly held the position of Music Curriculum Chairperson at Westchester Community College and most recently held the post of String Teacher in the Quaker Ridge Elementary School in Scarsdale, N.Y. He has been the viola instructor at Manhattanville College since 2009.
Manhattanville College is located in Purchase, New York on a beautiful 100-acre suburban campus, 10 minutes from downtown White Plains and just 30 miles from New York City. It has an amazingly diverse mix of students from more than 30 states and 50 countries. The College has 1,700 undergraduates and 1,000 graduate students.
