Mr. DeFrancesco is currently Vice President, Global Business Development at Pitney Bowes Inc., a Fortune 500 company located in Stamford, CT. Over his career Mr. DeFrancesco has held various Vice President and Director level positions in Manufacturing, Engineering, Product Development, Product Planning, Product Management, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, Service Operations and Quality Assurance. For over twenty years Mr. DeFrancesco's major focus has been on developing products with international and domestic suppliers, getting them manufactured, and implementing effective Supply Chain Management processes to reach markets in Europe, Australia, North America and Latin America. Mr. DeFrancesco has traveled extensively to Japan, China, Korea and Europe on various international assignments.
Mr. DeFrancesco teaches undergraduate level courses in International Marketing, International Business and Comparative Management Systems. In addition to his graduate course at Manhattanville, he currently teaches MBA courses in Supply Chain Management and Marketing Management at the Hagan Graduate School of Business at Iona College, and the MBA course in Business to Business Marketing at the Fordham Graduate School of Business.
Mr. DeFrancesco holds a B.S. Degree in Science from Pace University and an MBA in International Business from the Dolan Graduate School of Business of Fairfield University in Connecticut. Mr. DeFrancesco also completed executive education courses in Management and Leadership at Babson College and the Ross Graduate School of Business at the University of Michigan. He is also a graduate of the Phillip Crosby Quality College Executive Program.
Manhattanville College is located in Purchase, New York on a beautiful 100-acre suburban campus, 10 minutes from downtown White Plains and just 30 miles from New York City.
