In addition to being an adjunct professor of French at Manhattanville College, Elsa currently teaches French at Saints John and Paul school in Larchmont, NY., where she has created a French curriculum for teaching French as a foreign language and the French curriculum to the French speaking students. She also gives private instruction to children and adults. During her career, Elsa Douineau worked as a publisher for the French Ministry of Education, Albin Michel Jeunesse and Editions d'Organisation. She also worked for more than 10 years as a translator for various French and American companies.
Manhattanville College is located in Purchase, New York on a beautiful 100-acre suburban campus, 10 minutes from downtown White Plains and just 30 miles from New York City. It has an amazingly diverse mix of students from more than 30 states and 50 countries. The College has 1,700 undergraduates and 1,000 graduate students.
