Getting Started with WebAdvisor

Before you begin:

To access WebAdvisor for the first time, you will need:

  • Your College ID number (It appears on your new ID card.)
    OR
  • Your U.S. Social Security Number (SSN)

  1. From the Manhattanville web site's  Students page or the Faculty and Staff page, click WebAdvisor.

  2. At the bottom of the screen, click I’m New to WebAdvisor.
  3. Review the instructions on the New to Web Advisor page, then click the OK button to continue.
    The "What's My User ID?" page appears.

  4. Complete the "What's My User ID?" screen.
    --Enter your Last Name
    --Enter your College ID number (including the leading zeros)
       OR
      Enter your U.S. Social Security Number.
  5. Click the Submit button.
    The Select an e-mail address screen appears.

  6. Select your Manhattanville e-mail address from the drop down menu.
    Your Manhattanville email address ends with:
    @mville.edu
    or
    @gradmail.mville.edu
  7. Write down your Web User ID and Manhattanville email address.
    You will need them to retrieve your new password and to log into your WebAdvisor account.
  8. Click the Submit button.
    After a brief delay, a temporary password will be sent to your Manhattanville e-mail address.
  9. Log into your email account to retrieve your temporary WebAdvisor Password.
