Louis G. Boccanfuso is an adjunct professor in the Education Department of Manhattanville College, where he is currently teaches courses in Childhood Methods for Social Studies. Prior to this appointment, he served as a teacher and administrator in the Yonkers Public Schools for 37 years. He is a certified “turnkey” trainer for the following NYSED educational programs: Effective Teacher Program, Dimensions of Learning, GESA, and Cooperative Learning. Presently, he is also serving as an Associate Professor at the Fordham Graduate School of Education. He is the author of a social studies textbook for Houghton Mifflin entitled: “Exploring New York State.”
