Ian Sieupersad ’90 is the chief operating officer of Guest Service Solutions, LLC in Wilmington, N.C. The company offers golf packages for individuals, groups and corporate retreats, and provides quality assurance surveys for the hospitality industry.

Patricia Mould M.A.T. ’91, a third-grade teacher, has had her first novel published. The book entitled Mrs. Delaney: Room 108 is a mystery that takes place in an elementary school setting. Patricia has been teaching in the Stamford, Conn. area for 11 years.

Jennifer Ryan ’92, who covers the corporate bond market as a reporter for Bloomberg News, participated in a conference of the Institute of Political Journalism, sponsored by The Fund for American Studies. Other participants included Diane Sawyer, correspondent and co-anchor, ABC News; Susan Lee, member of the Editorial Board of The New York Times; Michael Mandel, chief economist for Business Week; and Edward Ryan, professor emeritus, Manhattanville College.

Michael A. Matheson ’92 left corporate America to return to Manhattanville, where he is working in the development and communications office and completing his M.A.T. degree in elementary education. He lives with his wife and two children in Westchester County, N.Y.

Stephanie Borgese ’92 is a freelance graphic designer. She received a Merit Scholarship from the Art Students League of New York for the 2003-’04 school year, and her figurative sculpture won Best in Show in April 2003. She designs most of Manhattanville’s marketing materials.

David Heroux ’93, a Kansas State University graduate student, is a member of Kansas State’s chapter of Alpha Chi Sigma, a chemistry fraternity. Recently David’s research provided him the opportunity to visit and live in Siberia for four months.

Edward Waters ’93 has been working in the Philippines for the U.S. Foreign Service, where he is vice consul in the immigrant section of the U.S. Embassy. He and his wife, Gennie Wong ’95, are very happy living in Manila, and recently celebrated the birth of their son, Dean Thomas.

Sebastian Bartos ’95 was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to study churchstate relations in his native Poland. He has taught summer school at Brooklyn College and is currently a Ph.D. candidate at City University of New York. Zack Nelson ’95 spent two years in the Peace Corps, in Nepal, China, Mongolia, Siberia and Moscow. He is currently working on his master’s degree in international agriculture and rural development at Cornell University.

David J. Esannason ’97, a staff sergeant in the United States Army, was deployed to Iraq. He is expected to return to the United States sometime in late fall.

In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week 2003, the National Youth Leadership Forum featured Jane Wals M.A.T. ’97 in the Teacher Appreciation section of its website, www.nylf.org. Jane is a tenured digital art-technology teacher at Pelham Memorial High School in Pelham, N.Y.

Lawrence Perretto ’98, received tenure at Hommocks Middle School in Mamaroneck, N.Y., where he is a science teacher and director of the applied science and technology program. Lawrence is active in several Civil War organizations in Westchester County and taught a summer course in military history at Manhattanville.

Elizabeth Castellano ’99, M.A. ’00, who teaches art at P.S. 241 in New York City, continues to show her artwork in public and private collections. Most recently, her work was exhibited at the Mount Pleasant Public Library in New York.

In his second year as an associate producer for ESPN’s Baseball Tonight Anthony Kazmierczak ’99 recently won a prestigious Sports Emmy Award.
