NYC Semester Program
Manhattanville College’s Semester in New York City offers a select group of students the opportunity to experience New York City as a learning environment by living, working and studying there. Semester in New York City students live in historic Brooklyn Heights and work at internships in businesses, not-for-profit organizations and governmental agencies. Registered at Manhattanville, students take courses in New York City taught by Manhattanville faculty. Students generally take 15-17 credits including a three-credit internship. A student may arrange to take a course on the Manhattanville campus in place of a program elective.
Semester in New York City students are housed in a residential facility for college students located in Brooklyn Heights, convenient to subways and all areas of Manhattan. A Manhattanville graduate serves as Resident Assistant for the students. Manhattanville has a cooperative arrangement for library privileges and some courses with nearby Polytechnic University.
Please note that this program will NOT run in Fall '08.
