Admission
Admission into the School of Education is offered after the freshman year. At that time, we require:
1. A grade of B- or better in EDU 2000, "Fundamentals of Schools and Teaching. EDU 2000 (or EDU 3017 for early childhood) can be taken after 1st semester of freshman year or 1st semester of sophomore year.
2. Minimum grade point average of 2.75 for the Bachelors Program and maintain a grade point average of 3.4 for the Dual Degree Honors Program.
3. Completion of the appropriate School of Education application requiring:
a. A personal statement
b. Two letters of recommendation
