Mission Statement

The Changing Suburbs InstituteSM  (CSI) seeks to improve the educational opportunities available to the Hispanic student population in Westchester County

Goals

Develop the “Changing Suburbs” Institute (CSI) that will:

  • Provide program development and professional development to schools, teachers, administrators and to teacher education programs
  • Serve as a clearinghouse of resources
  • Conduct and disseminate research
  • Maintain a network of individuals and institutions that are working on finding solutions to the challenges of educating Hispanic students in the “changing suburbs
