Mission Statement

The Changing Suburbs Institute®  (CSI) seeks to improve the educational opportunities available to the Hispanic student population in Westchester County

Goals

Develop the “Changing Suburbs” Institute (CSI) that will:

  • Provide program development and professional development to schools, teachers, administrators and to teacher education programs
  • Serve as a clearinghouse of resources
  • Conduct and disseminate research
  • Maintain a network of individuals and institutions that are working on finding solutions to the challenges of educating Hispanic students in the “changing suburbs
