Dance Troupe Soars at Westfield
The Manhattanville Dance Troupe won two third place trophies at the Universal Dance Association's Westfield State Cheer & Dance Challenge this week.
"The girls worked really hard, and fundraised in order for them to make it to their first competition," said Alanna Nolan
Assistant Director of Student Activities. To President Richard Berman, she said, "On behalf of Dance Troupe, and as their Advisor, I want to thank you for your support in making their participation in this past weekend's Westfield event possible. They brought home two trophies!!!"
The Dance Troupe received 3rd Place for College Dance out of 9 teams, including Adelphi, Marist College, Stonehill College, University of Hartford, and UCONN.
They also received 3rd Place for College Hip-Hop out of 12 teams, including SUNY Cortland, Bentley College, Lyndon State college, Gordon College, Westfield State College
Adelphi University, Nassau Community College, and Southern CT State College.
